I went out in the rain today, and manged to find this monster vein of Olympic Poppy. The piece in the photo weighs 18lbs, and it's half of the rock! Big smile on my face today!

Lots of green epidote (or epidotite) in that chunk. We need to see some slices.
There's nothing like rock hounding in the rain if you should be so lucky. It makes it easy to see the pretty colours popping out of the bedrock.
