As yall know there was a rockhound trip to the Owhyees!!!! I was there..... As for pictures I cant use photo bucket but thats no problem! Here is what the Picture Jasper, Plume Agate and fossils look like..... Use you imagination about the 15-16 claims we visited, make it the most awesome, beautiful material that you could imagine in your mind!!! Now let me tell you that those images in your mind, Aint Nearly Good ENOUGH!!!!! This stuff is awesome!!!
What is awesome you ask??? How about original Owhyee Gem Porcelain Jasper??? Yes red with white or red with blue or with pictures!!!! I got several pieces big enough to make 5-6 cabs each!!!! Plus gallons of tumbling rough! A 20 pounder of Monarch jasper with blue, I forgot and left that one in Tonys truck. A square foot of pink plume that is 6 inches thick!!!!
Plus I have lots of great stuff!

Now thanks Tony Funk, Roy and the other Tony for the work you did guiding us and organizing everything! Thanks Roy for the Elk steak and hamburgers, more like meatloaf on a bun!!!! Yall need to know thr two Tonys and Roy did not hound for themselves but instead circulated among the rockho uh nds and helped them find great material!!!! One fellow Bruce was not rsally phsically fit to hound much but thanks to tge Tony pair and Roy he went home every nite with more stuff than anyone!!! Plus several times I couldnt walk far enough down the cliff to get good stuff so they brough me some up!!!
Bottom line is that this was a hounding of a lifetime and I would say most rockhounds will never experience something of this grand of a scope!!!
Thanks to all.that attended because the other thing was the sharing of finds among what started as strangers to make sure everyone got some "GOOD STUFF"!!!!
God bless you Tony, Tony, and Roy!!!!

Hey Roy is picking at me because of the old gold mining camp shack in the picture! They all went up creek there to get leaf imprint fossils and I went down creek to explore the shack and gold mining stuff. I got a complete set of Idaho state vehicle tags off the roof, two for trucks and one for a car. The car one says Famous Potatos on it. They are all from 1960 and in great shape!!! What a souvineer!!! I also got two ceramic insulators to slab and cab!!! When at the Queen jasper site I found a real old broken commode that was pure shiny white porcelain and put a big piece in the truck to slab and cab but someone thought I was kidding around and it got tossed accidently. Oh well that Owyhee gem made me feel better. Also Roy Tony ended up with that huge piece of Monarch jasper you found and carried up that steep hill and gave to me. It was awesome folks, it had blue in it, rare indeed. Its ok Tony deserves it cause he gave me some great stuff from several locations including a perfect leaf fossil from the gold camp area! Thanks again Tony!
