Brought home too much stuff, but this Opal was the prize for today! This is the only harlequin Opal I've had and the lousy cell phone pi does not do it justice! It is almost 5 carats and has some stunning fire. It is full cut, and not a doublet or triplet! The Meteorite was an impulse buy from the same guy who had 25 pairs of cherry picked Ammonites set aside for me in case I showed up. I also bought 7 or 8 jars of various Opals that are at least 25 years old and are from various mines around Coober Pedy. A couple of Harlequins in those and one of the most stunning pieces of Boulder Opal I have ever seen! Also picked up a few pieces of untreated Andamooka and a large lot of cantera from Mexico with stunning fire!
