I have had a shop in a craft mall in Branson, Mo since last November, but recently the owner of the busiest one in Branson approached me about opening a location in his Mall. We discussed it with him at length, but didn't really want to take on another location. He had a guy come in and build this old West false front to entice me there and I fell for the bait:-) Had to go buy another duplicate set of tools, torch, displays and a ton of stuff which will start being set up this weekend. I have a few cool things planed for decoration, but don't want so much it distracts from my jewelry. I will have wooden letters spelling "SILVERSMITH" cut out in old West style, paint them then actually shoot a few holes in them for effect The display cases will be out front, so the fake Saloon doors and windows will be the back wall of the booth. It's kind of shallow from front to back, but we can deal with it, plus it's the very first shop customers see when they come in the front door I'm also building a 2'X3' display out of barn wood for old west items like spurs, locks and keys and hopefully an old non working Colt .45 if I can find one somewhere cheap. Already got some wanted poster reproductions ordered also. This is gonna be a fun shop

Looks good, but you need a hitching post out front for the horses.

Neat idea, but are you gonna volunteer to clean up the hay burners "exhaust" Nah, you need to leave it for cushioning when the cowboys start breaking bottles over each others heads and get thrown out the saloon doors. You can also make extra money by putting a watering trough outside. People will pitch coins in to the water.

Wow! I'm very impressed! He must have really wanted you to go through so much trouble and expense. You'll have to post pics when you are done. Sounds like it's gonna look really nice. Don't forget the horseshoe over the door.

Thanks for all the positive comments folks The shop I am in now I cannot sell any jewelry with Turquoise due to another vendor selling their so called "Dead Pawn and estate pieces" It is all freshly made pieces with enhanced (dyed) Turquoise, so this new shop should do well as I am going to feature the real deal If anyone has a stash of old stock Turquoise, I am interested. Stabilized is ok, but I don't use chalk or dyed material

Havn't been to Branson in awhile. Is it still the same cluster**** that it used to be or were they able to widen the main road??
I like Silver Dollar City unfort last time I was there the 2 biggest coasters were down but we had a good time otherwise and not too awful far from home.

Does anyone know where I could get tumbled stones wholesale? The cheapest I could find them on the internet was anywhere from $9 to $12 per pound depending on the material.

Cool, and thanks for the offer, but I have an abundance of them in our old barn It is a round barn (actually an Octagon) built in 1899 and still in pretty darned good shape. There was all sorts of nifty old stuff in it when we bought the place 5 years ago. Even found a couple of very old whiskey bottles stuck behind some boards in the wall

Maybe I need a Tokay Gecko or two as showcase guards Those things can BITE!!! Of all the critters we had, I miss the Auriculatus and Acanthurus the most
