My mother in law just came back from her trip to nova scotia, asked her to bring me back some rocks. Here's what she brought from a beach at the bay of fundy and a couple from the salmon river, and my guesses at what they are ( nothing special but I'm still happy to have them and she was wondering what they were, she brought back a bunch for herself too. ) Chalcedony ( wet and dry) No clue but the band goes 360° around the stone (wet and dry... sparkles in the light, guessing high mica content) sandstone? nice quartz bands ... sandstone and a granite I think Granite with a really cool weathered pattern Shists? Side view: Top: Greenstone, top and side with nice bit of quartz: Ignimbrite and a Conglomerate Picture jasper? Was the only orange rock on the beach ( top and bottom) Green jasper? Has that same Glassy feel. Had to get it wet to show details Granite, ones a nice little pocket stone Size comparison with a quarter Hope you guys enjoy seeing them, I sure did enjoy getting them

Hmm mm I'm not sure, doesn't matter too much these are for my personal collection except the greenstone. I'm putting a tree on it and giving it back.
