I forgot to take pictures of the latest batch that came out yesterday before they were added to our stock pile but I figured I would take a picture of this one special one that was in there. This is a 12 ounce piece of pudding stone with just one lonely piece of jasper. top view side view Thanks for looking Chuck

wow, that really is special... that thing shines like a glass globe. I have never seen puddingstone with that kind of shine! how did you do that??? trick photography, lol About half this load was pudding stone so I actually cut down all the lot-o times to one day per stage. Over tumbling on some stones just leads to worse undercutting problems. I even skipped my 1000 stage altogether. The matrix on pudding stone varies a lot too and this particular stone had a little better matrix then most. Chuck

Interesting. Your attention to the process has made you an expert tumbler. it can be a tricky process, especially if you tumble different types of stone.

I'm not sure I would have bothered to tumble that. I would have been wrong. That's really interesting and the matrix came out great.

That's real special, don't think I've ever seen a natural inlay like that, and the super polish sure makes it stand out. One rock show, and well worth the admission.
