Jack are you going to try and tumble that?
What Im getting at is that theres a lot of different material in each chunk - so from my experience (limited albiet) it wont work in a tumbler.
What have you got in mind for it? I like the blue.

Jack, I know good opal when I see it. That is excellent material you have there. I agree as I wouldn't tumble the stuff as it would be too valuable to lose. If you have a grinder that would be the best bet. Looking forward to what you do with it! Tony

Excelent colors on those opals, Jack! Till looking at the "measure", they seemed smaller to me, but they also have decent sizes. Some of them could become unique cabs (well, every cab is unique but you know what I mean)

Hi Mark, I bought a 4" saw/grinder polisher earlier in the year, and Im itching to have a go after this week ,after getting all the summer hanging Baskets away.
I Have some cuff links to make for a friends 80th birthday for starters ,later a few "Tony " pendants, ear drops,
Tony & Adrian and all.
Thanks for the comments , The opal seam is a bit thin on some pieces but should work up OK, but it takes a bit of courage to get working on such beautifull stuff also I need a bit of hot weather as I will get a good outside shower, even if the water is red water !!!!!
