Top one look more blue than purple on my monitor but if it's more purple, it could be Burro Creek from Arizona Second one looks blue to me too. Doesn't look like marcasite, maybe some kind of copper complex with azurite.....Mel

I need to take pictures with more light.
The first one is an agate and the color isn't too bad. The second one is way off. Looks like gray and red when I look at it. If I polish it, I'm pretty sure it will be shiny. I have some Nipomo marcasite but it has a lot more agate in it.
