Leather polishing discs, syringes of diamond paste, and the red bottle is probably silicone extender fluid. Each leather disc should be marked to match each of the syringes, and used ONLY with that syringe. What “mesh” pastes do you have there? www.kingsleynorth.com/skshop/product.php?id=46682&catID=188Looks like a neat little setup.

Not just opal. You could polish any rock or cabochon.
Are the discs leather or masonite or what?

Firstly, The pro has already answered above. However, I would suggest that you widen your search to include "Ran & Company Lapidary Products" or "Ran Co. Lapidary Products" Searching for "Ran-Co Products" as the label suggests was inconclusive. made Faceting machines in Northridge, CA. Yet when I searched for any address I wasn't able to come up wit something.. One page that give me a few leads was this one: tomaszewski.net/Kreigh/Minerals/Homemade.shtml

the disks are masonite with a canvas that is charged with the mesh. there is 325, 600, 1800, 8000, and 14000. the label on the red bottle says, "diamond compound extender fluid"
