I made up a big meatloaf and several large meatballs to smoke this afternoon. After I ran out of room for the meatballs I had enough burger left to make about a half pound patty. I decided, what the hey, and slapped it in the smoker along with the other goodies and it was danged good! I pulled it at 160° internal temp, melted a slice of Cheddar over it and chowed down. Kinda unusual having meatloaf flavors in a hamburger, but by golly it was a tasty!!! Check out the smoke ring on the bottom of that bad boy!

Used to add egg, oatmeal, and BBQ sauce to my ground beef for burgers all the time. The family loves them.

freak That is a smoked meatloaf CHEEZEBURGER. I can has cheese burger? "Meatloaf" is a form of sausage. Many hamburger recipes are a form of sausage what with flavors and seasonings and all. That kind sir seems like a perfect match!
