Petrified wood is my vice. I dabble in other rocks to support the wood habit. I've been fortunate to have lived in NE, CO, WY, and now WA and do a lot of collecting. I enjoy running the saws and laps. I like cutting thundereggs and being the first to see the inside. I consider cutting thundereggs my form of gambling. I'm also in the same rock club as Roy. He got me started on this site.
Cheers! Jerry

Welcome Jerry. I know the excitement when you first cut open a rock, you just never know what you are going to get! That rock in your avatar picture is exceptional! Would love to see a bigger version.
