I believe that one is wired for 220 not 110 1/3 hp is more than enough for that poundage. Mine has not been turned off for the last three years and no issues. Chuck

You could even get away with 1/4 hp. If your rollers have good bearings (low friction) the motor does not have to do a lot. You want one rated continuous duty. IMO, if is also good to have totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) around grit. Thermal protection is a nice feature too.
I am assuming you have the pulley sizes for RPM of about 1700. (the one you linked was).
Somehow the 230v motors are always cheaper. Sorry.

Unless your shop is already wired for 3 phase electricity,(the 3PH in the motor description), don't use that motor. There are plenty of 1/3 HP single phase motors out there at comparable prices.

Bill do you have a habitat for humanities store near you? There is one in Gardena. www.habitat.org/restores/search?zip=&area=CA&province=I have found you can get fractional horsepower motors for a great price $20 or so, but it's hit or miss if they have them. Before you spend $90 plus freight, it might be worth a look.

aside from the instant-reverse, that one is ODP (open drip proof) instead of TEFC. I htink if you shop a bit (or wait) you will find one closer to $50 or less

Open drip proof is fine as long as water or leaking slurry can't enter the motor. TEFC motors run hot and usually cost more. Must say "continuous duty" and fan cooled though.
