Kingsley North just put out a new catalog with certain grit sizes shipped in 45# lots that fit a lfrb from the post office, thereby saving on shipping.

You don't say where you are located, would be helpful. Kleenblast has warehouses on the west coast from So. Cal. to B.C. We get our grit in Portland, OR, best price in area.

Washington Mills supplies a lot of the abrasives to distributors in the US. I think most of the grit we use for tumbling is made by them and distributed by them. They may have defective/mixed lots of coarse SiC/AO on a large scale. www.washingtonmills.com

Thank you everyone for the information. Right now I am in Quartzsite, Arizona on I-10. Next summer I will be back on the East Coast in Philadelphia, PA with expected stops in Franklin, NC as well as Spruce Pine, NC. I generally travel on I-40 across country. Ahhhh.....yes transportation costs....not what they used to be.
