Here are four more, I hope you enjoy. Again, no sun, so I think the photos could be better. Two Bruneau Jasper cabs I did this Cherry Creek a while ago but it was wonkey, so I evened it out, or at least tried. Willow Creek, maybe I should have made a smaller cab? Do you think the pattern is too jumbled? Thanks for looking. Rich

Excellent work Rich, as usual. You say the photos don't please you. Apart from a little over-exposure on the Bruneau's (at least on my screen), I'm curious why you say that. I'm trying to figure out what members think is a "good" or "great" photograph because there seem to be many different opinions. Maybe that subject needs its own thread but I'd still like to hear your comments. I think your images do a great job of showing the stones except for perhaps something to show scale.

Very nice cabs!! The 1st couple of pics are somewhat grainy on my laptop, but those bottom ones - the Cherry & Willow are pretty darn good pics in my book - that bottom Willow is KILLER!!

Very nice! I see what you mean abt the willow, but I wouldn't change it at all. I like it.
I've always liked your pictures- even when the sun isn't cooperating.

Thanks for all the comments. The sun was out some today so I took some comparison shots of the one Bruneau & the Willow Creek. The colors look more natural to me in these & less grainy, but the trade-off is more issues w/ high-lights. What do the pros think? Bruneau Willow Creek Different orientation of the Willow Creek Thanks for looking. Rich

Nice cabs Rich. I like the willow creek pointy side up. Looks like layers melting upon each other.

The willow creek with the round side up looks like a person to me.

I think your sun pics reveal the killer shine on your cabs much better, pghram. Did the pretty Chinese Cherry Creek find a good home since it didn't get its picture taken in the sun? They are all beautiful!!

I like them all and the photos :-)
What are you using to stand the stones up on the ends?

I like them all and the photos :-) What are you using to stand the stones up on the ends? I use sticky tac putty, both on & off the dop(nail). On the nail is easier for pointed cabs. Rich
