ell no. Don't buy that POS. The SDR 35 PVC barrel lasted about 2 months. Don't know about the chassis. My barrel after 2 months, same as on the machine you are asking about:

Thank YOU! The chassis looks good... but you'd have to buy new barrel/s... so just buy the good one to start...

I like my Lortone QT66. I'm not sure what the advantage of getting a 12 lb. barrel over two 6 lb. barrels is. I like more barrels for doing more variety or doing different stages in each barrel.
I don't know anything about the tumbler in your link, but I trust James' judgement.

I think Sabre52 has one. Not sure he is real happy with it. Maybe ask him about it..................MrP

If you research the actual brand name of this one here on the forums you will find some not so favorable reviews on it as I was looking at the exact same one on ebay till I saw the feedback from my fellow RTH peeps.

Cool, I'll steer my friend away...
He wants a bigger barrel to handle bigger rocks I think Juggler... thats why I went with the 12# myself. I love the idea of tumbling some of these 5# pieces of wood and agate I have.... and jasper.

I also have the QT66 & really like it, I've thought about getting the 12 lb barrel to use w/ it also.

He can always buy two 6 lb. barrels and have both as the Lortone tumbler frame is the same. Pretty versatile that way. The linked tumbler is really high speed for rock. They came out with low price ads originally but barrels were not included. Sold PVC barrels as options.

I bought one and it is a pile of crap. The guy who makes them is a jerkweed who knows the bearings are garbage but still builds them any way.
The bearings are wheelchair bearings which are not meant to be run like that. He knows that no one can possibly maintain the bearings the way his warranty requires.
The guy is a douchebag of the highest order. I dealt with him. Don't be a fool and get screwed like I did.

However it was too fast a speed he was recommending for most rocks. You are so right. Schedule 40 PVC takes a lot of abuse, but that thin wall PVC does not.
