OK, so I am curious to get to know you all better. In the course of interacting on the boards I have learned we have a hugely varied group of people under the RTH banner. Our politics run the gamut, our activities away from rocks must vary a great deal too! I have learned about a few of you, we have a juggler, a philosopher and many outdoors sports enthusiasts and hunters here. We have gifted artists and poets, what do you all do when you are not hounding or crafting rock related items?

Waterskiing is fun. I am fairly impressed. Now juggle while you are doing that and I will be really really impressed. Jim I care for my sick mother who passed away 12 or so years ago. My dragon injured it's wing a few months ago and since it is so old it does not have magical powers to heal itself any more it spends a lot of time crying on my shoulder like a big baby. When the cows come home I have to care for and milk them. One got stuck on the moon a while back and it must have taken me fifteen to twenty minutes to erase that nasty bit of business from my mind. I play a lot of mind games like "what is my name?", "how hard do I have to concentrate to get myself to fall up?" and "how many times will I have to hit myself on the head with this rock to convince my grand kids that I really am nuts?". WOW, I did not realize my life was so fulfilling and busy until I started writing everything down. I could go on and on with this list but I have to uh......hmmmm......oh......no......ah, play the game "Jimmy, did I tell you what I was going to do today?". Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Jim

Well with eight children and ten grandkids(so far),that keeps me busy...I'm a woodworker,carpenter/roofer,mechanic and what ever else I can get into trouble with...Fishing and hunting are a passion too.. I donate a lot of my time to our church,I'm their handyman, possibly headed for the "Men's Fellowship" leader.. I'm my own boss(my wife said I could say that)..LOL I'm a disabled Army Veteran(Spinal decompression),so I just pick what I want to do for the day and stop when it's time to quit and relax, without pushing the envelope anymore... A bit of my work.... It took me over a month,to find these license plates!( Ebay and Amazon) They had to be the same month and year and in very good shape...(Didn't want to take out of my collection).... I made this for my son and his new wife...The 1st one was for Tammy and I... I love old wood,it has its own beauty, history and style...I just bring it back to life for people to enjoy it for years to come....

So when I'm not rockhounding I like metal detecting and hiking the local parks. Both are another excuse to bring home rocks BTW. I also collect coins and enjoy playing poker.
