Yes it's with short wave uv. iv been asked on a few materials I have collected if it glows so it got me very curious ....so figured I better get a light and find out with a normal black light it's a mild green and the rest of stone turns a yellow peach color .

what is the material it is made of, that it does that??? there's a whole new world in that rock! I've gotta get some UV lights... you have made me curious as anything.

What is glowing in pic is the opal . There is many rocks that glow to explain here but a neat read to look up . Pretty wild some of the stuff that came alive with uv. I got my light from rockshed and fav part is its portable woot woot a whole new world of rock hounding one of these nights ha ha
