My little man passed away the other day..He lived a long and happy life, and never wanted for anything.. I am heartbroken and will miss him .. He was 14 years old.. It will take time to heal..I am glad he got to go on his own terms..Those who have had to make that decision are hero's in my book.. My avatar is him and my id is his name ..Thunder. .Rest in peace baby boy..

More than just a pet. Our dogs are our kids. Members of the family. I'm so sorry to hear that Thunder has passed.

Thanks everyone...Jakesrock is more than correct...My he was my child ..Just a lot more furry... I read a post on FB that made me laugh...It fit him to a T....How is it that I can call my dog and he will act like he can't hear me..But he can hear a candy wrapper being opened 500 miles away...

Sorry, John! 14 is a nice age though and I'm sure Thunder could hardly have been more lucky than to have had you as his pal.

So sorry for your loss, John. Losing your fur children is always hard. You were both lucky to have had each other.
I will always think of him in the Batman costume. In the second photo of him, he looks naked in comparison, lol!

I am so very sorry to hear about your furbaby sidekick, Thunder, Thunder69. Your avatar of him always makes me smile. I hope you'll remember and treasure the good times you and your family shared with the lil guy.

Your avatar has always been one of my favorites here.(The lotion on the skin thing cracked me up.) Sincere condolences, When I have suffered such loss I try to remember to take some joy from having given them a loving, happy home in return for their love and devotion.
