Found this guy in a Variety store in Montana years ago,bought it for $2.00.... Someone told me it was "Amazonite"... Any guesses on the right answer? ?? Thanks

Also bought a black tourmaline from him too,it was in a quartz matrix....Payed a buck for it....It's about four inches long and about dime thickness.....I'll post photos of it...

its a good one. That petwood is awesome. I have never found rock like this in resale stores, garage sales, or flea markets. Used to find good sea shells off and on. Maybe the part of the country one is located in makes a difference. Or the managers of the stores perception of value. Would be hard not to see the value of the finds you have shown here!

I knew it was called shorl, but even at the fundraisers, it never sold for more than a couple dollars for a specimen like in the pic.
