Hi just thought I would introduce myself, I started playing with rocks a few months ago using a homemade flat lap that I have made out of a bench Grinder and then using a dremel with diamond paste to final polish. I am always trying out new ideas and really enjoying the hobby , next thing to do is join a jewellery class to learn a bit more about silversmithing. I have made one open back bezel which wasnt too bad but needs improvement.

Welcome to the forum, ladicius! Do you have any pics you might share with us of your homemade flatlap and jewelry piece? Would enjoy seeing them. Do you have a water setup with your flatlap?
