Mrs. Pat, glad that rockpickerforever answered your question about our user id #. Jean, thank you for explaining how to post multiple quotes in a post. Will have to give it a try. You're welcome, Jan.
Easiest way to find the user number is to right click the person's user name, then scroll to the bottom of the menu to properties. Will look something like this - forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/user/3777. That's mine.
Tried the Mozilla Firefox, could not get the "Load Draft" window to come up there. But I suspect a pop-up blocker may not be allowing it to come up.
One other thought, if I recall, there's a setting in everyone's profile as to how to handle drafts. Go to profile, then Edit Profile, then settings. The fifth choice is :
Enable Drafts
Saves your posts periodically during creation. Yes No I have mine set for yes. MrP, check yours to see how it is set.

That's funny, jamesp! That looks like a xray head shot of Bart Simpson. That would be flattering. A movie star at last.

How do you get a members name to show up as a link in a post?.......................MrP
Not sure about this backwards stuff.
HP Pavilion Notebook PC, Windows 7 Home, IE 11....................MrP MrP, I think the notebook is the problem (with the back button). When using my tablet (desktop version of RTH, hate the mobile version), there are two ways to go back. One is the back button on the tablet, the other is in the forum software. Will have to go check and see which one I use. Oh, yeah, and also try Firefox. What do you mean by ID number? Didn't know we were numbered! me - 3777, Scott -3782, Pat - 4173, James - 4778 In the order we joined. Pat, that one had me stymied for awhile, too. captbob likes to use it a lot, I finally figured it out! It was the settings

I can not believe I sat here and read this whole damn thing. I need to get a life.
What's even worse is I did not learn a damn thing and not because I already knew it. I will never need to quote more than one person at a time because I refuse to learn new things. I will stick with the good old ways like before computers when you had to enjoy your rocks by yourself. Okay, that is pushing it. Jim

rockpickerforever Thanks for helping figure this out. You are the best!!!!............................MrP You're welcome, Mr. Price, and thank you for the compliment. You may be the only person to actually follow the instructions and do it! I can not believe I sat here and read this whole damn thing. I need to get a life.
