Montana and factures (healed and unhealed) go together a lot of the time. Tahoma and Morgan Hill also. If you get a good scene, like your cab, it's worth the effort.

It's pretty thin, hopefully it holds together. Was a 1 cab wonder slab that I got in an old collection at an auction. It worked out perfect for that shape.

I've got 5 pounds of Montana nodules arriving next week. Great slabs are too expensive and the rough is like the box of chocolates line from Forrest Gump. It's and adventure from slabbing to cabbing.

Your Montana pick looks awesome, NDK, and your new machine did a sweet job! Are you enjoying your machine and have you done any other modifications to it?

Thanks Jan. I exchanged the motor I had on there for the 1 I planned to use & wired it with a ground as 1dave suggested. I've been planning to figure out drains for the hoods, but every time I get the few pieces needed they won't work quite right. I think I finally have it figured out, so a trip to the store one last time should do the trick.

My apologies for straying off topic, NDK, but I wanted to ask if you will please update your cabbing machine thread with any modifications you make to it when you can?
