James P sent me a few boxes of coral last year or so-I just got around to separating the broken coral for tumbling on my next job... I found these three pieces of artifacts in the box...(sorry James, that it took so long to look in the boxes).. James are these from Georgia or Florida??? And a HUGE thank you... Will go in my artifact collection....Thumbs up

Those are cool, Fossilman! Glad you sorted them out before you started your tumbles. What are they, and where did you find 'em, jamesp?

fossilman gingerkid Found those on the Savannah river-Georgia side. At Stoney Bluff, where the Savannah River agate exposure is. Probably from this trip. I collected agate for tumbling. Heat treated chips in a camp. Found this while collecting the chips. Heated chips partially tumbled(fossilized/silicified bryozoans)

I entered a public hunting ranch in west Texas and walked over a half a dozen points. It said-DO NOT COLLECT ARTIFACTS. Game warden at gate coming and going. they meant business. I do not remember seeing a sign in Georgia, but trespassing can be much less forgiving down here.
