Not sure if this has been posted before so I am posting it new or again because somebody just might find their rock here. When I said all inclusive I was talking about every single rock on this board has a name with it. It does not include about 4,700,000 other rocks out there but jeeze, I couldn't find them all. If you enlarge it it has some really pretty rocks. Jim

Thanks Diane, I thought the same when I got it finished. The toughest part was getting the Chinese correct. I had a really hard time finding all of those stones around here too. Looked high and low for at least ten minutes then found them all in one place in my pictures folder under "rocks". Jim, sigh, The things I put myself through for the good of the group are..... well..... astromonical.

I need to make an empty board like that and find samples of every one of those. Gotta have goals.

Hey, that's a pretty nice board. Shows some good IDs and also shows how folks like too make up new common/trade names for new materials or old. Way back in the fifties or sixties or heck maybe 70's. I'm old and can't a'member a company used to do that same sort of thing with jade samples, little labeled rectangular preform sized plates. I never even knew there were that many common names for jade types. Those sets were huge! It would sure be neat to have one of those for cabbing now days. Note to self, check e-bay....Mel
