Thumbs up! Awesome cabs and photos. That lens is crisp in tight. Awesome.
What is the lens/camera?
Cheers

Absolutely love the natural edges in the first one. Is it rounded off and domed or flat?

Thanks for all the kind words. The Tube Agate was actually given to me as a gift from, ESCIGUY, an Ebay seller whom I often purchase from. I was concerned about being able to cab the material withoiut it breaking as the tubes and orbs are in a very brittle matrix. However with a light hand and a lot of luck I was able to create a rounded domed cab. I only went as far as my 3000 grit wheel. I will definately buy this material when I see it avaiable. The new lens that I mentioned in the thread is a Nikon 105mm macro lens which I used with my Nikon D200. I have not shot any macro photos yet but I am liking this lens a lot. Stu

Hey Stu, I'm in the same boat. It's been almost 3 years since I've made a cab. Gonna get started again soon.
Love the materials you've used, but I'm hooked on picture jaspers from the Owyhee area. Got about 50 lbs of various Owyhee materials to slab & cab.

I know what you men about the picture jaspers, I purchased this slab back in 2012. It is a true one of a kind. You need to start slabing and cabbing that 50lbs of rocks. It will be like opening a treasure chest. Stu

Very nicely done, unclestu. I don't know that I could have brought myself to cut the Inca agate, but you did it justice. I love the red speckles. I also haven't cabbed in a while (a little over a year), and I miss it. Broseph -- nice volcano on the Owyhee jasper. I love it when the stuff makes mountains. www.flickr.com/photos/36618387@N06/4683260660/

I'm glad you are back in the saddle, unclestu! Your cabs have been missed and are beautiful! Cannot wait to see the cabs you create from the other pretty slabs you posted. Will you wrap any of the cabs? Love your volcano picture jasper cab, too!
