Video is after 4 full days in AO 500. Never added water or anything else. Used 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Never even opened it. Easy. Not sure that the rocks need polish but will do AO 14,000 with Borax for a day or two. Borax puts the final shine on them babies. After 4 days Shine results, looks cloudy due to green house plastic cover:

FOUR DAYS and that's lazy? pfffft Over achiever I'm thinking! Check on / deal with once a month if ya think about it. Most importantly, don't worry about it if you miss a month here and there. Rocks aren't going anywhere... And that's why that UV-10 I bought a few months back is destined to gather dust. WAY too busy to babysit a tumbler every day.

I left my rotary on for 2 months. Will have to redo some of the glass but other than that wasn't too bad and all the grit was used up

March 6 to May 18 in the rotary. No clean outs. 4 cups of SiC grinding wheels that were crushed into 1 inch pieces. 14 pound of rock. 3 cups of clay added at start. captbob's fire truck red tumblers are cleanest used tumblers on earth, got to be. Some of the material tumbled

Looks like a tumbling revolution, eliminating all the bs, coarse in a roller to ao 500 in a vibe and done... crazy cool. Nice work!

The insides are just as well maintained. Ever other cleanout, I pull the barrel liner and WD-40 the inside of the barrel. Okay... I may have an unusual quirk or two. "I may not be doing much but doing nothing means a lot to me" Good one Ken, A very common adage around here is "I may not do a lot of work, but what I do is outstanding!" That and: "It's gotta get worse before it gets better." - Wife hears that one A LOT.

Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” ― Mark Twain Wifey calls me worlds best procrastinator captbob. I graciously accept the title.

Each species of tumbler has its place. While I admire cleanliness and orderliness, I find those qualities difficult to master in my own shop.

Wifey calls me worlds best procrastinator captbob. I graciously accept the title. Then we most likely share an oft used saying... "It's on my list."
