I actually finished it a couple of weeks ago but I have been so busy with other things I am just now getting around to posting it. Messed around a bit with some scrap copper that I had been practicing writing a name on with my hammer hand piece. Annealed the pieces, shaped them, hammered them, annealed them & hammered them some more & then did the patina. I made a pair of horse head earrings using the rolling mill & sterling silver, which I wasn't happy with. So I rerolled them using the same pattern over the previous impression. I reshaped them, did some hammering & then some patina. Not as boring as before but I am still learning what is what & what I can do with it. I have another ring with is close to being done but since I soldered the bezel on & it turned out slightly off center I haven't touched it & that was about 3 weeks ago. It's still sitting there staring at me asking when I am going to fix it!!!!

Very nice! when using the gallery bezel, I always fit to stone, solder, reshape to stone, then lay on the sterling sheet and trace the inside shape onto the sheet. I then saw the outline allowing a wee bit extra room, then file it to fit inside the bezel, then using solder it using chips. The gallery bezel has detail all the way to the bottom, so filing off excess backing always screws up the bezel unless you spen TONS of time on it. It's painstaking to fit the backing inside the bezel, but the end results are worth it!
This how the ring in my avatar was done

Thanks, everyone & thank you radio for that information. That is something I will definitely have to consider in the future.
