I found a new use for the give-away cell phone stands. They make a handy display stand for your new favorite rock that otherwise would be lost on your desk. I need a wrench to tighten my vice so find that hanging it on the side of slab saw using a supermagnet hook (originally sold for hanging Christmas decorations) kept the wrench easily at hand Note the flannel strip that hangs on the hook. It absorbs the mineral oil that is always on the wrench after use. No drips, no stains. My tank does not leak but oil drips from my lid when I raise it immediately after turning off the saw. Hence a platter of oildry absorbant material under each of the rear legs of the saw. Note floor is clean, and oil confined to tiny area. Simple minded stuff but potentially of interest? Tom

Guess I was the thread killer. Will help you out and give this tread some CPR. Tired of carrying pails of water from your arbor? Got the idea from the homemade saw sucker. Has been working great for over 4 years. I call it the Rock Snot Gravity Trap. Pat-pending I extended the drain hose from my poly 8" down into the pail. Then drilled a hole 3" from the top and siliconed a 1/2" hose to it and attacked the hose end to my floor drain. Done never have carried another pail since. Pail is about 1/2 full of snot and will clean it this spring. Mini sucker For my slab saw sucker build. I picked up a 1 gallon shop vac for about $25 and I use it for cleaning my saws. The hose is after market suction hose,$3 a foot. Inserted a piece of 12" x 1/2" pvc pipe to the end for a nice wand. The bonus is I also use it to clean my slabs as they come of the saw and before they go into the saw dust box. Works real good for clean the crud of the saw table too.

If you put your kitchen table legs inside of metal paint cans then pour a half inch of motor oil in each can, the ants cannot under any circumstance get to your food.
