A friend who is a combo blacksmith, naturalist, and artist wanted to feature a large rock in his front yard. The challenge was to allow examination of both sides and to make it more than just another yard rock. He fabricated a simple yolk to hold it upright and then mounted it on a tapered steel bearing that allows the very heavy structure to be rotated with the exertion of a single finger. I thought this was worth sharing and apologize that I don't have more details on the rotation weight bearing aspects of the piece. The stone . . . I was so amazed by the display piece that I failed to study the stone itself. Tom

A very nice way to display both sides.
