I was running out of tumbling rough, so it was time to fire up the tile saw. These are all small slabs. The best will become cabs. Smaller pieces will get tumbled. Nice slabettes, Darryl! What a variety! You're tile saw work is inspiring. Maybe before long I'll get to use some of my equipment... Keep it going...it helps to spur me on!!

Amazonite from New Hampshire? YUP! Mindat has some really nice photos if you wish to drool. The area is known as Moat Mountain, near Conway, Carroll County, NH, nestled in bear country of the White Mountains. The area is also famous for terminated Smokey Quartz crystals poking out of blocky white crystals of Albite feldspar. The site is still open to the public, but you have to be prepared to dig. I'll do a "location post" sometime.
