A customer brought this to my shop a while back and wanted to know if anything could be done with it. It still had a lot of shale around it and was way too thick, but the Cab King and the Foredom turned it into something that was suitable for bezel setting. Just to safe, I lightly backed it with Devcon plastic steel ( I go through a lot of the stuff:-) and fabricated a bezel setting for it. The thing is about an inch and a half long, so makes quite a hefty masculine pendant. He was quite pleased with the outcome and wears it most every day

That came out really nice! Its gotta be one of the best trilobite pendants I've seen. Very clean and symmetrical, with nice detail. Of course, it also helps that it is a great specimen, too.

No, factory made 30 gauge bezel from SFJS, so I can't take credit for the bezel on this piece. A good deal of the high end Navajo style Turquoise pieces I do have hand cut bezel though.

That is flippin cool! Does he wear it on a chain, cord, or? Thanks. It's worn on a pretty sturdy silver chain.. This somewhere around the 10th piece I've done for him and his wife. Great to have repeat customers!
