doublet83 It has been my experience that some but not all mosses will undercut. I have even had some rocks with multi-colored moss where only one color undercut. Tube agates seem to want to undercut in the tubes most of the time as well. As I understand it grinding on a wheel does solve this. Don't own one either. Tumbling longer most likely won't make it any better. The moss will continue to undercut and you'll have a smaller piece with the same issue. Save it until you have access to a cabber or lap of call it good and send it through the finish steps. Clean well between stages. Good luck.

Thanks for the advise. Makes sense. Too bad I'll have to stash some of this agate away until I have the equipment to polish them..
