I just wanted to add that we will be selling stones tumbled and rough, jasper, thundereggs, polished and whole with the opportunity to have them cut onsite. Petrified wood rough and polished, slabs rough and polished, grits, glue, sanding, disk & paper..etc...My wife is more on the metaphysical side of it and I am more of the material from the Northwest.

I was trying to incorporate rocks and stars into something but kept coming up with potential trademark violations. Best of luck with the shop, it sounds like a fun occupation.

Thank you for the input, I guess all in all this should be one of the least of my worries right now. I went and picked up a glass display case that needs a little repair and i am in the process of getting two more locally. I was thinking about possibly running a contest on here and providing a $50.00 credit for any item in my store for the person that came up with a name that we liked and would be able to use, not sure yet though...

They might be the people who put on the Cascade Locks show.

That is most likely where she seen the name as we attend many shows throughout the year here in Oregon.

Either what @shotgunner said, very descriptive, the name says it all. Or whimsical and/or fun, like: The rolling stone Rock on! Get stoned Take a lode off After looking at those, I see a problem. Your customer base may be the wrong demographic. Go the route your wife was on. Something that sounds mystical and magical will bring in the metaphysical crowd. I've noticed they seem to be willing to pay more for the same material than the rest of us. Because of the special powers they hold, of course. Good luck to you!

Which historic region are you? Delake Nelscott Cutler city oceanlake Taft Wecoma beach Cutler City, we are right along hwy 101 in a complex that shares other other shops. The name is called Street Car Village Antique Mall I believe. There is a total of 6 shops that sell various items, one sells books, another sells survival gear, then comics and games. A furniture/garage sale store...I know people who have had shops there in the past and have done well for themselves. You are definitely right on the metaphysical willing to pay more for the same stone, watched my wife do it many times.
