Here in Florida people have decals on their cars that say "salt life". It is the name of store/restaurant/clothing line. How about a play on that if it is not trade marked. As in "rock life"

It's looks too clean and sterile. Seriously u need a corner with dirty gritty rough and a few buckets on younameit or idontknowit for a bargain price. We rock addicts like to look at the purtys and go wow but then we gravitate to the rough and slabs with the idea, should I say hope we can create a master piece!!!

As in "rock life" That actually sounds good, I am going crazy right now...lol...My truck is in the shop (should be out today) and i have just six days left to get the place open. Cash register should be here Friday and credit card machine Tuesday, never ran either of them before so i have some fast learning in store for me.

Now that I think about it I don't think it is trade marked. I also regularly see " redneck life", "swamp life", "Disney life", "gun life", ect. Ect. Time for the west coast to get some life!

Your definitely right about that, I actually do like the name and I am going to run it by my wife. She is more into the metaphysical which explains the crystals, amethyst, etc...

I went with a card chip reader credit card machine and pay 2.39% per transaction with no swipe fee, no monthly fee or annual fee, no cancellation fee, no contract, and will also get a mobile swipe for on the go from them.

The problem with rates are the other categories like "reward cards" (earn airline miles or other perks), "corporate cards" (includes any card tied to a business not just corporations), and international cards. I think the rewards are called "mid qual" and non-qual forthe corp. cards. Companies always quote their lowest rates. I get hit by "card not present " for phone orders that fall in the mid qual range. Then there are the fees. PCI compliance, annual fees, fees because they can get away with it, other fees (you have to call to ask what they are). I switched my website sales to PayPal processing. Higher rates but no PCI, and other fees. Actually balances out with my card not present service with fees but easier to refund shipping. And people can pay with PayPal if they want. We use the Square for shows and it is wonderful. We bought a $600 wireless card reader years ago for shows. Some buildings had bad phone reception and I spent a lot of time walking around outside trying to run sales. Looked like I was trying to contact the mother ship. In store card present equipment must be much better. Impulse buyers at shows buy with credit cards. Same will be true in a store.
