I've had the box since Friday and looked it over a couple times before deciding what to keep. I had a little help from my son, who always has an opinion to share. Here are the goodies that will stay in Kentucky.
We had to take this one, it's actually shaped like the state of KY.
Now it's time to pack it all back up and replace the material I took. Here is what will be making it's way to California with the rest of the travelling box.
A Kentucky geode and some tumbled stones
Slabs, crinoid and KY chalcedony
A little tumbling rough
Large Bahia agates
Botswana agate, palm wood, crinoid fossil
Well it's a full box, nothing else was fitting in there. Next time you see it, it'll be with Tommy. Safe travels little box, thanks for visiting.

Da box has arrived in California. My mailman was just sort of staring at me when he handed it to me - so I knew it was rocks. I'm going to need a few days to process it but I just wanted to say that this batch of tumbles thrown in by Garage Rocker is some seriously skilled tumbling. Also whoever made the arrowheads - you are an official badass in my book. At least one of those puppies will not be leaving CA any time soon So many goodies to choose from - I'll post again when the tough decisions have been made.

I REALLY wanted to keep more than one of those arrowheads, but alas, I had to be a good steward of the box. I agree though, I'd love more!

What is the nodule of gnarly black skinned, layered agate top middle? I have one of those... No clue what it is.

@shotgunner, that's a blue Botswana agate. Sliced up, that will make a few nice tumbles.

That's the other arrowhead I had my eye on. Dangit. Haha they are all awesome but that one really caught my eye with the banding pattern. ... and I'm sure you knew there was no WAY I could resist that piece of KY - and nearly the other one too LOL. I was barely able to restrain myself. There is a LOT of nice stuff in the box - including a lot of slabs. It was general torture for this rock addict to have to pack it all back up

Awesome traveling rock box...I spent my time with it today and will mail it out to cobbledstones this afternoon. Great material in this bulging box!..... I kept a few tumbles and slabs from Tommy ; a slice of kentucky and a few tumbles from Garage Rocker and a few other slabs from the box. And I too had to keep one of those arrowheads - as Tommy said "badass". There are a few left. Alot ot fun and great to share. All of my contributions are self collected, glad to see them go to good homes (edit - except for the corral tumbles, rough was courtesy of jamesp ). Cheers. What I took out.... What I put in....
