Received the box in great condition, thank you bsky4463 Took my time going through and picked out a small piece of ocean jasper, dino bone, madison blue (which I had never seen before), gary green, and some unidentified stuff. Here is a photo of what I took I added back a bag of small but good Montana agate, a slab of Moroccan Agate, a small bag of Priday blue ice agate, a slab of graveyard plume agate, some local finds, and a few beads that I made. Pictures are dry I PM’d meviva to get their address, will be sending along ASAP

Thought it would be fun to post some things I made from the traveling rock box. Not finished, but you will get the idea. I started to make stuff in the order box's travels. First up was material from Garage Rocker. The tumble sized material was begging to be made into beads so I preformed some. Bottom is the yellow agate from dead center of the 'tumbling rough picture below. Middle is the Bahia agate made into an eye bead, and top is the blue Botswana agate, that had black skin. These will take a ride in the vibe tumbler to get finished. A little tumbling rough
Large Bahia agates
Botswana agate, palm wood, crinoid fossil

I've had the box since Thursday, it was fun going through it. I hope we continue doing it. I sent it to El JeffA he should have it by Thursday. Here is what I took out. Lots of fun stuff. This is what I put in: A couple of Rio slabs, plume slab, Montana slab and a couple of unknowns. New Mexico Rhyolite The top ones are unknown and the bottom two are George West petrified wood. Tumble size pieces of tiger eye. Some pieces of Arizona pet wood. A few misc. pieces I tumbled.

I love living through all of you guys' pictures! I've had to stash my rocks away until our daughters get a little older. 😉

marinedad I got your address. I got the box today, looks pretty rounded and abused. There was a lot of broken slabs and one of the arrowheads, looks like we had someone go postal on it. The packing was great but they got to it anyway. I'll get pics as I clean it out and repack. Off to the PO for new boxes...

It happens, the post office prefers well rounded flat rate boxes!

The box as received. We pulled out the fragments and broken stuff. We're keeping these. Put this stuff in. It's ready to go. I hope to get it in the mail at lunch tomorrow, assuming I have the time at work to take a lunch.

One replacement. The Little Mescalero jasper slab looked fractured under Elizabeths inspection and was replaced with a larger slab of fancy India agate.
