This is what I've done this month. Most of it is self collected. 1. Group 2. Large Noco Idoevenoite 3. Other side 4. Group of agates/chalcedony 5. Blue Noco agate. This is the bluest one that I've collected. I think there's an errant dog hair that bombed the photo. 6. Pet wood. The two larger, opaque ones were collected on Grand Mesa a couple years ago. I finally finished them. 7. Grand Mesa pet wood shine through 8. Other side showing bark 9. Noco Jaspers 10. Odd quartzy thing with hematite like specks and streaks. 11. Jupiter Idoevenoiter. I had already picked this name for this rock, and when my wife saw it she said, "It looks like Jupiter." Thanks for the look-a-bout. Hope to see you in August, Colin

Hope ya got something for the tumbleoff! I will. I don't know which one though. Seems like a really hard choice with so many premium examples in there... Color me green with no operational tumbler... Im saying Jupiter is quartzite... Ill take 200#

Is quartzite a shmorgasborg of quartz parts all melted together? I think the large one in pics 2,3 is quartzite too.
It'll take me awhile to get 200lbs, but I'm up for it.
No tumbler? It's like being a bicyclists without a bike.
We need to start a Go-fund-Me for a tumbler or something.

Quartzite is a metamorphic sandstone made of quart and. Often polishes nicely.

Beautiful rocks! I'm definitely inspired. I hope to have a few of my own to show in a week or two. Seeing yours is making me drool and is making the temptation to go open my tumbler to see how mine are doing almost irresistible.

Very nice tumble. # 11 looks like wood to me. I can see that, but originally it didn't have the form of Pet wood. Thanks, Colin

Hit it out the park Colin. Unique stones too. They are fine tumbles.

Great tumble with great material and self collected! Love #2 and the Grand Mesa pet wood! Keep'em rolling! Jeremy

Hit it out the park Colin. Unique stones too. They are fine tumbles. Because of my incredible ignorance, I tend throw everything in the barrels. I imagine 50% doesn't make the Lot-o cut. A lot of idoevenoite gets to the end. Thanks, And Jeremy..will do. Colin

Are you pre-shaping. I get into the shaping part. funky shapes, balls , squares, rough facets.
