Haven't had much time to cab lately. I busted out a few quickies, here they are and my best guess as to what they are. Actinolite Sodalite North Edwards agate Kramer Junction purple agate and unknown brecciated jasper from North Edwards Lavic Siding (red) and North Edwards green agate Epidote and garnet in dolomite Epidote and peridot or chlorite in dolomite

Nice. I like greens so the green agate is my favorite.

It's nice to see some new material. I hadn't heard of most of these or seen them. Thanks. I think my 2 favs are the 2 last dolomites.

If you make it out this way, and they haven't turned it to National Monuments by then, I can take you up there I am heading out that way next weekend.

I would be willing to trade a slab or two of the dolomite rocks if anyone is interested.

Really like the Sodalite. I bought some to tumble and it's nice to see a finished piece.

Tela, if you ever do get out this way, barclay , socalagatehound and I are all within just a few miles of each other. And Chino is just a couple hours up the freeway, you can drop in on @shotgunner and his GF.
Actually, there are a lot of us that live out here on the left coast, mostly north of me. But then, unless a person were to live in Mexico, they couldn't very well live south of me, lol. There used to be a thread with a Google map on here somewhere that RTH members could mark where the live. Suppose it's still here somewhere.

Thank you, Jean. I really mean it. It's nice to feel welcome. DH is married to his job. He rarely... and I mean rarely takes time off. He isn't the traveling type. Even though he loves CA. (He was stationed in San Diego.) I recently had to force him to take 1 day off to go to Delaware- a 3 hour drive. *sigh* Maybe things will change.... I can't see traveling alone.
