First off I sadly don't own a Lot-O ðŸ˜. I'm wondering how the motor bearings hold up when the weighted fans are on the dual shafts. I've read the weights must be aligned the same so does this counteract vibration damage to the bearings? Also wondering how vibration is transferred, pictures would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have had two Lotos for three years. Replaced 3 motors, all three with bad bearings. It's the greatest final polish tho so worth it.

Might be luck of the draw but I have a couple lotos that have never given me an ounce of issue. I have run my main one 24-7 for 4 years straight and I bought it used on ebay so who knows how much the original owner used it too. I have made zero adjustments or repairs.
The only bearing issues I have heard of have been on really old models before they switched to a different style motor and bearings.

No problems here either. I don't run mine continuously though. I run it for about ten days at time, about once a month.

I am only home in the summer and I run mine about 3 months out of the year continuously. I actually have 4 lotos. I can buy a used one on Ebay and swap the motor out for less than a new motor. I go thru springs too. Fans have never failed me. On frame self destructed. However I love the shine and there is no wsy I would switch. Ten pendants sold at the flea market will get me a new motor so no biggie!
