This is my first Pietersite cab, it has a pit, but other than that it's fairly nice [ This is the unknown cab. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what it might be. Thanks. (Stony Creek, possibly) Thanks for looking. Peace, Rich

Nice cabs, Rich. Not sure of the id, but maybe stoney creek- it's ringing a bell with me, but I'm not sure of the name.

Wow - That is nice. I wanted to collect some peristerite when I was up north in Nov, but did not get into the spot. Now, I am kicking myself.

Nice cuts! The unknown reminds me of Stoney Creek or maybe Stone Canyon jaspers. I have some Stone Canyon with very similar colors.

Nice cabs! I think the second one could be from a number of locations around the western states. The right side jasper/agate I've seen very similar from a spot we collect in Nevada. The left side has a distinct southern CA tone - Lavic, Wingate, Cadys, etc.

That second cab looks like some of the jasp/agate we find in southern Utah, which looks like some of the same from the Cadys near Barstow, CA. I think similar jasp/agates are found in many places.
BTW, where can you COLLECT Pietersite? Lynn
