One legged.
World's greatest "one legged" cowboy.
Bill, you messed up your own quote. Lol
World's greatest cowboy of all types is debatable. But one legged cowboy is undisputed. I'd stick with that.
Lol

Sorry Bill. Hate to hear you had a mishap. The end cap does wear out fast if you don't add this plate before gluing the end cap on. 2A. - On Capped End - To reinforce the DWV End Cap, I Cut End Circles and place just before gluing end cap. Two 1/4" PVC sheets glued together and clamped. I Would prefer 1/2 " hard rubber stock. Butcher block nylon would work. No glue will hold 1/8" or any rubber for that matter. You could pour silicon caulk in and let it dry to fill end cap. Don't bother unless you do it often. Tumbling wears silicone fast. It does stick well though. I'm starting to sense emotional trauma here. Possibly misrepresentation.
I think we may need to dig up Johnnie Cochran. Literally.
If the lid do leak, compensation we seek!
ETA: watch out for the fine print

Jim I used a rounded 6 inch glue on endcap. On others I used a flat one. THe flat ones have be in service total over a year. The rounded one wore thru with less than 6 months total tumbling. Wonder if the round end caused this, it wore thru the center, about 1.5 inches became a potato chip.

On another note my lovely Susan and I will be visiting Jim on the way to Az in Jan. He is gonna have to explain to the lady why her quartz is all mused and ugly. Fractures full of gray rock snot, pieces missing, gonna have to be tumbled way smaller to get rid of PRICE fractures!!! LOL

Yes Jim be afeared she lives shiny smooth no fault tumbles! Such as... • Small tumble ● Large tumble
She likes large tumbles not pea sized gravel.
Maybe if she gets to play with Maggot you can win.her over???

Wonder if the round end caused this, it wore thru the center, about 1.5 inches became a potato chip. I had flat end caps on my 8 inch barrel. They lasted way longer. I could not find flat 6" end caps. Just those darn rounded ones. No doubt the rounded ones force the rocks to wear out the end in center. 6 months sounds exactly right. Repairing or patching the round ones without trapping grit is difficult. I did buy 'Spear' brand end caps thru Amazon. They were a lot thicker but will still wear out. The plates MUST be added IMO flat or round end caps. On the subject of y'all visiting; my Mom is not doing well and we are dealing with her a lot. It is not looking good for a visit Bill. Maybe another time. Sorry.
