You, sir are a multi talented individual. I love how that came together- very nice look. The bike is a beauty, too.

Love the pictures. Wonderful old bike. Nice build on the outhouse shed. One thought - I don't think the (birch?) posts will last long.

Gotta love a good outhouse. That's a pretty one! My great uncle's ranch used to have an open backed outhouse made of redwood bark looking out over a tree filled canyon in back of his place. Used to shoot squirrels out of the crapper while taking a rest stop. Multitasking...... cool!.....Mel

Thanks everyone, the outhouse was built for my wife because she told me to do something with that window or get rid of it! And this was the best i can come up with, As far as my bike it is a 1953 Monarksilverking Holiday deluxe for Firestone the bike was avalible by collecting stamps from the firestone station's ,the bike was built by two mfg. Companies that merged for a short time "Monark" an "Silverking", i found this bike about 5 years ago when my brother called me from La Junta and told me a friend of his is selling a couple bikes i drove down an found this and also a 1977 Murray deluxe, my brother has told me stories of riding this bike and getting rides to baseball practice ,and lots more pretty much grew up with his friend and this bike ! I also bikehound i been collecting bikes for about 20 years recently down sized my collection from nearly 200 at one time to just a handful now. I collected everything from 80's bmx to stingrays and muscle bikes , old tank bikes and unique 3 an four wheelers . I got rid of alot more recently i had to pick space for my bikes or space for my rock saws ! And the saws won!anyone else have a picture of their bike i can see even miutain an road bike i love them all,

A fishing camp at Ely Minnesota was my first outhouse experience. A two seater with a window. The winter before a big bull moose walked buy the window of the outhouse and holy ... That would make something happen. Lucky I wasn't there in the winter.

Like a nice outhouse, thanks for the pics.
My mother lived with her folks and worked in Springfield, OR during the time dad was serving in WW2. During that time, the city put sewage into that area, and granddad moved the outhouse out near the garden for a tool shed. Mom said many times the city reps. would stop by and tell him he couldn't have an outhouse anymore. They finally quit stopping by after he had shown probably all of them it was now a tool shed.
