Majority of the batch is from San Jacinto (SJ) River gravels, with a few other trades and self collected. Thanks for looking......Jeremy 1. Pet wood from the San Jacinto (SJ) 2. SJ Palm Wood 3. SJ Palm root 4. Another piece of SJ pet wood 5. SJ Moss 6. Based on an ID from Mel, this is Plumosa Mtn..... 7. SJ 8. Typically don't find much green in the San Jacinto. Cell phones don't photograph round objects very well...... 9. SJ 10. SJ 11. SJ 12. A piece I found in Arizon (Back) 13. Same piece (Front) 14. Some kind of green moss / tube agate from AzRockGeek, that's way cooler in person. I had a hard time photographing. 15. Rio from Sabre5216. Montana from Kingsley North. 17. SJ 18. SJ 19. Pigeon's Blood from AzRockGeek20. Very cool piece of Flintridge from spiceman21. Burro Creek from AzRockGeek. The white moss makes it difficult to polish, as it's continually exposed as you tumble it. 22. Moss agate hounded in AZ 23. Rhyolite hounded in the Balmorhea, TX area. Didn't polish very well....

Texas has cool rhyolites. Some is silicified real hard. I left beautiful rhyolites behind on the Rio for fear it would not polish. Brought some back and half of it has been polishing darn it.
I never have trouble polishing hollow stuff as far as trapping grit(#13). Coral is the worst. However small stuff sure nuff gets wedged in the openings.
Spectacular tumbles Jermey as usual. You had some good spectacles on these rock hunts, sharp eyes.
#14 green moss is a stand out. spice lucky to live near Flint Ridge.
Palm root(#3) challenges me on ID.
SJ holds it's own with the bestest.
Voted best cell phone photos. Do not give that man a high dollar camera.

Beautiful stuff! I have the rocks you sent me in the tumbler. They had pretty much finished the rough grind so I put them in with some 70 grit aluminum oxide before we went out of town. Excited to see what they did while I was away.

Picked up a bunch in W Texas and NM, with similar polishing results. I used a toothbrush on #13 after it came out of polish, but couldn't get very deep with it. Maybe your sugar technique would have been a better plan. Wish I had 100#'s of #14! Palm root is an educated guess....the other side of #3 had more palm fibers. Agree, SJ is great tumbling resource. Still want to hunt Rio's someday! Cell phone is good for specific shots. Doesn't hold a candle to Garage Rocker's shots!

Needs Southern style lynching:
"Doesn't hold a candle to Garage Rocker's shots!"
Ridiculous tumbles/photos. Dual talents.

Beautiful batch. Loving those green moss! I started a dedicated barrel of your material on 12/22 so I could tell them apart from all the mixed barrel batches. Maybe in a few months...

#8 popped up late. Good grief Been having hell with Photobucket! Loaded the pictures last week, but couldn't get them to show up on RTH! Guessing that's why #8 was slow to show up.

The first half of my RTH career was on a Windows pc, the second half a Mac. Both were slow to load photobucket links for some reason. I have been a member of flickr thru both p/c's. Really like flickr. Lot of people use bucket here and like it. Seems like a lot have switched from bucket to flickr too. Free flickr is 1 TB of photos. Lots of photos. Should try doing RTH pics in flickr to test.

Back to the rocks ... You did a real good job on all of them. My fav. Is ... Well They all lock good. Let's reverse the saying ( positive) good rocks in, great rocks out. You have the process down.
