Very cool stuff! I really enjoyed checking them all out. What kind of agates are those? Glad you liked them. These are Mississippi /Louisiana banded agates.. I collected them off a river in Mississippi a few months ago...JOhn

Yes I did...After the Polish and burnish I wasn't too happy with the results. .I put the whole batch back in for three more days ...I didn't burnish them after the last round...what you don't see is around 2 lbs of ceramics for the cushioning. .John

Nice tumbles, John. I am surprised the rocks and glass played well together. Loving those agates! Did you use the vibe exclusively? What was the coarsest grit you used?
Thanks for sharing!

Nice variety in that batch, I like the agates. That glass looks cool, I haven't tried tumbling that yet.

We don't see that many batches done completely in a vibe around here. I tried that once, but I prefer doing the rotary first. Do you do all your batches this way? The class sure makes the batch colorful.

Nice work! I am with a few others in that I am surprised how the glass did with the hard agates. I guess if you have the skill, it will show up. Thanks for sharing with us.

The class sure makes the batch colorful. I was doing them in a rotary for a while ..but the last few years it has been all in the vibe...I have some stuff I will need to use the rotary for but am waiting to get my shop finished to start them.

Great batch! Great shine & love the agates. Maybe I missed it, but how long did you run the 120/220 stage in the vibe?

Great batch! Great shine & love the agates. Maybe I missed it, but how long did you run the 120/220 stage in the vibe? This batch went 4 days in 120/220..2 days in 500 a/o then 3 days in polish/burnish..Ended up doing 3 more days to get a deeper shine on the glass and agates...John
