Looking good so far. Now get them back in that vibe and finish them up! Is there a reason you did two stages in the rotary? The second stage can be done in a vibe in much less time.

Oh yes, the granite and quartz. Tricky rocks to tumble. Especially that granite.
Very nice.

I didn't own the vibe until I was through stage 2, then I switched them over when I got the vibe.

Nice tumble on a difficult breed of rocks . Which vibe did you go with ? A RayTech TV-5. Got it super cheap and figured by the time it breaks down I'll know if I want to invest in a lot-o.

Great way to go about the hobby . Lots of people like the lot-o so there will be a lot of help if , when , you go that route .

I usually do two days each in SC 220, AO 500, AO 1000, and AO polish. If you've already done that, they're probably done. A couple days more in polish probably won't hurt anything, but the granite might undercut more. I'm sorry that I didn't read that more carefully.

Those came out great. I'm saving for a vib and the TV5 looked interesting. I really want a Lot-o but I'm getting impatient. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the TV5 as you get more experience with it.

I did the two days each but I'll go one more day and see what happens. I was hoping for a bit more on some of the stones. We will see tonight.

The only thing I know for sure is that you can't put anything to big in it. It jams things up and then you get wear marks in the other rocks.
