I decided my next hobby will be rock painting. I requested to join the Northeast Ohio Facebook group on rock painting, and checked an article or two on it. I purchased some rocks and marker paints. Anyone do this thing? Any advice?

I've got a book somewhere that shows how to paint animals, bhe the above link should give you plenty of ideas.

Love those Yahoo images! Like he said, that should give you plenty of ideas!
I don't paint, no telling what something I did would resemble, lol. But an old friend gave me this painted rock
I believe she picked it up at a reptile show, don't think she could paint, either...
The photo doesn't do it justice, with better lighting and without the dust on it, it is pretty realistic looking. We used it as a door stop on the door to our snake room.
I have seen rocks painted with various items at craft shows, thrift stores, swap meets. Do you have any ideas what venues you will use to sell?

Now I'm just getting intimidated! I was hoping I could do a baseball, or the planet Saturn, and I see these realistic animals...I hope I can do a tenth as good!
