Back in the early 80's I made a bunch of 8mm movies that involved Animation, Time Lapse, Photographic Illusions and other Trick Photography. Here are a couple of my best efforts on YouTube, check my Channel for some more like these . . .
Enjoy

Count me impressed! Man, those must have taken forever! You could have done a Peter Gabriele video. Or, worked on Pee Wee's playhouse.

I watched the first one. Now my head hurts. I liked the eighties songs. I didn't know either of them, but liked them both. Were they both Oingo Boingo?

The 8mm film is projected at 18 frames per second. So when doing Animation, 18 individual pictures are taken for each second of playback. Once setup it is very easy to do, one or more people to move the objects and a camera person to click the frames. Actually one other person was required to serve the beer and roll the joints.

I noticed those doobies were more like Spanish Cannons! LOL!
