dose any one have an opinion to share about this unit i am thinking of getting a flat lap and saw this one you can switch out a saw and sander is it worth the money or is it a gimmick kind of thing ?

I have a six inch swaptop. The saw is virtually useless in my opinion. Just not enough power. I made a lot of cabs with mine and if that's all you can afford, it will work.
When my motor started to go, I bought the ameritool flat lap, and It's far superior.
I use a tile saw, outside, to cut the slabs.

i bought this unit about a year ago and was horribly disappointed. I already had a saw, so i just got the flat lap. Water feed didn't work right, Customer Service sucked.
