All I have to say is: If this little ole thing needs to be weighted down with 100lbs it must have the tiniest jet engine hiding some where!! And before y'all make any comments jamesp, captbob I know! I'm going to mount a larger block between the grey and red. Get to much more height an I'll need a step later.

Hat's off !! No wasted time and jump right on it.
That Lot-O reminds me of a needling machine I assisted building for a textile company that employed me. It had three 40 foot long crankshafts. We had to pour 317 yards(never forget) in a 3 story deep foundation. 39 full concrete trucks in one day. The big foundation to counter it's vibration. Complaints were filled 1/2 mile away about ground vibration. We were limited by the township in running it at 400 RPM instead of max 600 RPM. It had a 125 HP electric motor.
The Lot-O not much different on a smaller scale with a ~1/10 HP motor. Morale of story, respect off-balance rotating machines.
Nice checker plate under door. Nice turnbuckle door adjustment. Nice wood work on base of Lot-O.
I would have thought they wanted to lay the blocks on their sides.

Hey Jim... heads up on if they actually do any filming on your property. I may or may not have been on a few movie sets in my hay day... not EVERY BODY on set has glamorous lives and fancy things, most of them do heavy to moderate drugs (yes famous people included) worker bees, addictions, normal proclivities on the higher pay-grade therapy side of life. Take inventory of your important items! jamesp But they usually are a lot of fun, if you smoke weed, they share 😂 Prone to skinny dipping if they get the green light too. Sometimes good/sometimes BAD

I love watching other people work! True that! Got a road crew 'working' in front of the office. Fascinating watching their methodology. Lots of discussion, not much digging.

1) Ribs broken from laughing."Oh crap, I just got what you...." 2) Yes, captbob ALWAYS has perfect timing. 3) The arrangement you had may have worked fine. More concerned about the connection between wood and concrete. 4) The rate of expediting the redo, not a procrastinator by any stretch. 5) Bob's popcorn, hope he gags on it and turns 3 shades a blue. 6) Yes, film people are animals. Done a good bit of time around the grips, they will work/party your butt into the dirt.
Thanks for the good wishes. Need some change to do some improvements around the crib.

Just Googled Jackson MS weather - said it is 55° there! Headed for a high of 63°
That's WAY no good.
"Cold front" going through today. Only supposed to hit 80° today and 74° tomorrow. Gonna have to put on a shirt tomorrow!
Set a record high earlier this week at 86° and tied the record the next day.
oh... BTW, you missed a spot!

2nd BTW ... Save them Clorox wipes containers. They make excellent grit containers when you want to have smaller amounts readily available.

So do I need the AO 1400, 14000 for final polish? Is it AO OR AI and where do I get it if I need it? I have the AO 80
