I took some pics of the first 3 lb barrel of rocks that have made it through 220 grit. I took about a dozen photos and then started them rolling in a pre-polish. After uploading the pics from the camera to my computer I remembered why I bought tripods a few years ago. Next time I will use them, because most of the pics were too blurry to use. Here is a pic of the entire lot dry: Then wet: The stuff in the middle is mostly rocks I have picked up around the country and I have no clue where I got them. I would bring them home and throw them into one of my aquariums. When I took all of the tanks down a few years ago I stashed all of the rocks in the attic, so I have many boxes of stuff up there to use when barrels need filler. Some of it is just glass and marbles that were in the container I grabbed. The little piece in the lower right corner is actually a piece of a lot of emerald material that was still in the matrix I bought on ebay from Brazil a few years ago. The white rocks were in the box I got from Jugglerguy this year. My world wide contest rocks dry: Then wet: This petrified wood pic shows why I should have used a tripod, but it also shows how nice this material will be when it gets finished up:

Thanks! I think I will check them to see if they are ready for the polish today.
